Thursday Kitchen (New York, NY)

Thursday Kitchen (New York, NY) - This was our last dinner in New York - and it was my favorite. The vibe was fun, the food was fantastic - and having one last meal with all of my friends was really nice. My kewl Brooklyn friends had been talking about Thursday Kitchen all weekend, so [...]

Roberta’s (Brooklyn, NY)

Roberta's (Brooklyn, New York) - In preparation for this trip, I actually didn't do that much prepping. Usually, I research things I want to do (historical, museums, etc.) and food. But since I was traveling with my friend - who is not as neurotic as I am about those things, I tried to let it [...]

Colson Patisserie (Brooklyn, NY)

Colson Patisserie (Brooklyn, NY)

Colson Patisserie (Brooklyn, NY) - It was our last day in New York and we wanted to keep it easy. We were both from the lack of sleep and (likely) jetlag catching up to us, so we had to cancel on a last minute plan with a friend. But, we still needed some coffee and [...]

Xanh (Mountain View, CA)

Xanh (Mountain View, CA) - Sometimes you just want to go hang out with your coworkers after work and not spend a million dollars. That's where happy hour comes in! And Xanh is a pretty cool spot to come chillax after a long week of work. It was pretty empty when we got there, likely [...]

B Street & Vine (San Mateo, CA)

B Street & Vine (San Mateo, CA) - In search of a place to meet up with a few of my friends after a monotonous day at work, we settled on B Street & Vine. It was a midpoint for the both of us, and after being told that this was a place that had [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

When you’re in the woods but you still need your coffee ☕️⁣
Thinking about how I’d originally wanted to go to Yosemite last week and now it’s closed indefinitely due to all the snow. 😳⁣
Who wouldn’t want to jump out of bed for a fresh pastry haul at the farmer’s market? I’ll admit, I’m not a morning person, but the promise of flaky croissants and fresh chocolate chip cookies is enough to get me out of bed on a Saturday morning. And you know what? The benefits of starting my day with a delicious treat, quality time with family and some fresh air are unbeatable. I feel energized and motivated for the rest of the day - who knew? ⁣
Gotta get back on ~romanticizing~ my breakfasts again, especially when it’s so easy to put together like this waffle board yet looks so fancy 💅🏼
When you wait too long to make this reel, that the coffee shop has changed ownership. 🥲 ⁣
🏔️ Wow, it's been over 15 years since I've last been to Yosemite, so this family weekend getaway was so nice to experience! Although I didn’t end up coming for the Firefall event I’d planned to see, I ended up in Wawona, a hidden gem at the southern end of the park. Our cozy house was nestled right alongside the Merced River, and the balcony offered calming views of the water and rocks.⁣
