Where to Eat on National Pizza Day

Where to Eat on National Pizza Day

Pizza is always one of those things you can rely on. Bread - good. Cheese - good. Sauce - good. All of the other customizable toppings - good. I love classic flavors like cheese or margherita or trying the less conventional like potato pizza or corn as a topping. If a city has its own [...]

Roberta’s (Brooklyn, NY)

Roberta's (Brooklyn, New York) - In preparation for this trip, I actually didn't do that much prepping. Usually, I research things I want to do (historical, museums, etc.) and food. But since I was traveling with my friend - who is not as neurotic as I am about those things, I tried to let it [...]

B Street & Vine (San Mateo, CA)

B Street & Vine (San Mateo, CA) - In search of a place to meet up with a few of my friends after a monotonous day at work, we settled on B Street & Vine. It was a midpoint for the both of us, and after being told that this was a place that had [...]

Broadway (Laguna Beach, CA)

Broadway (Laguna Beach, CA) - After that wedding reception (in the previous post), everyone was ready to chill and enjoy the night. I never realized how close Newport and Laguna were until this trip! I believe one of my cousin's friends chose Broadway, and it was a really good choice. Broadway by award-winning Chef Amar Santana [...]

Bartavelle Coffee & Wine Bar (Berkeley, CA)

BARTAVELLE COFFEE & WINE BAR (Berkeley, CA) - Bartavelle opened during my final semester of college, and I was super pumped to see a coffee place that had a parking lot! That is a rarity in Berkeley. Except, I never ended up making it out there, so it's been on my list for awhile. Several [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

I’m still working on perfecting my latte art, but my morning routine is essential while working from home. A big part of that is my morning coffee. It sounds corny, but the act of making a hot (or iced!) latte at my home cafe before settling down at my desk really sets the tone for the day. ⁣
Celebrated Lunar New Year with my niece and nephew last week! It was so fun seeing them dressed up in their hanbok, getting envelopes, and eating Korean food. Oh and eating too many of those colorful sweet rice cake balls. 🍡

A whole 2022 recap is a lot of work so here’s what some of what I ate in the fall/winter. 🍴
Very much looking forward to the end of 2022. 🥳⁣
August and September were good 🍴
