Sawyer (Seattle, WA)

Sawyer (Seattle, WA)

Sawyer (Seattle, Washington) - I don’t want to say this was the highlight in terms of food during my Seattle trip, but it was. Their food AND their service was fantastic. If this was a Yelp review, I’d give them 5 stars (which I rarely do) - and I will after I make this blog [...]

Steelhead Diner (Seattle, WA)

Steelhead Diner (Seattle, WA) - On our first day, we decided to knock out Pike Place out of the way. By the time we got to Pike Place, parked, and walked around, it was already almost 3 o'clock. I think we were getting hangry because we couldn't decide where to eat. Initially, I did want [...]

Sylvain (New Orleans, LA)

Sylvain (New Orleans, LA)

Sylvain (New Orleans, LA) - Pretty sure everything in the French Quarter is delicious, and Sylvain most definitely exceeded our high expectations. I had seen it on a couple of travel lists and saw it on Joy the Baker’s guide to NOLA as well. I knew it had to be worth checking out. Sylvain is tucked away [...]

Pokéworks (Cupertino, CA)

Pokéworks (Cupertino, CA) -  The best part about being contacted by Pokéworks is that i’m already a fan. I get to experience some new places after they reach out to me - and I genuinely enjoy my experience (and honest about things I didn’t like). But with Pokéworks, I’ve already had their food a bunch [...]

Olla Cocina (San Jose, CA)

Olla Cocina (San Jose, CA)

Olla Cocina (San Jose, CA) - I was looking for a delicious (and cute) place to eat in San Jose awhile back, and came across Olla Cocina. My first thought was - how have I never heard of this place?! It’s a large Mexican restaurant right on San Pedro near the square! I’ve been in [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

When you’re in the woods but you still need your coffee ☕️⁣
Thinking about how I’d originally wanted to go to Yosemite last week and now it’s closed indefinitely due to all the snow. 😳⁣
Who wouldn’t want to jump out of bed for a fresh pastry haul at the farmer’s market? I’ll admit, I’m not a morning person, but the promise of flaky croissants and fresh chocolate chip cookies is enough to get me out of bed on a Saturday morning. And you know what? The benefits of starting my day with a delicious treat, quality time with family and some fresh air are unbeatable. I feel energized and motivated for the rest of the day - who knew? ⁣
Gotta get back on ~romanticizing~ my breakfasts again, especially when it’s so easy to put together like this waffle board yet looks so fancy 💅🏼
When you wait too long to make this reel, that the coffee shop has changed ownership. 🥲 ⁣
🏔️ Wow, it's been over 15 years since I've last been to Yosemite, so this family weekend getaway was so nice to experience! Although I didn’t end up coming for the Firefall event I’d planned to see, I ended up in Wawona, a hidden gem at the southern end of the park. Our cozy house was nestled right alongside the Merced River, and the balcony offered calming views of the water and rocks.⁣
