Tea Alley (San Jose, CA)

Tea Alley (San Jose, CA) - I told myself I would not go out of my way to seek out food trends, but I really like the light bulb boba bottles. I knew there were a couple of places in San Jose with them, so when I was in the area I did a quick [...]

Locol (San Jose, CA)

Locol (San Jose, CA) - Of course I know about Roy Choi and the Kogi truck. I've read his memoir and I've been to A-Frame. So, I feel like I have some barometer of how delicious his food can be. When Locol was going to open in the Bay Area, I was really excited that [...]

Mendocino Farms (San Jose, CA)

Mendocino Farms (San Jose, CA) - I had originally heard about Mendocino Farms sometime last year from my cousin, who lives in Southern California, and I heard good things about them. IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

Weekend coffee = latte art attempts. I think I still need a bit of practice. 🤔
My ideal day starts with a morning coffee and I stopped by @alchemistcoffeelab for that boost ☕️
April: ninth heart transplant anniversary; Eid al-Fitr; unwelcome 90 degree weather. 🥵 oh and some of my favorite people’s birthdays in between.
Last year for my heart transplant anniversary, my sister made me a chocolate smash heart! Filled with some of my favorite chocolates, of course 🍫😏
Honestly shocked these gorgeous almond blossoms didn’t activate my allergies. 🤧
The rare weekday bagel and coffee. 🥯☕️⁣
