Sylvain (New Orleans, LA)

Sylvain (New Orleans, LA) - Pretty sure everything in the French Quarter is delicious, and Sylvain most definitely exceeded our high expectations. I had seen it on a couple of travel lists and saw it on Joy the Baker’s guide to NOLA as well. I knew it had to be worth checking out. Sylvain is tucked away [...]

Willa Jean (New Orleans, LA)

Willa Jean (New Orleans, LA) - A place renowned for biscuits? You sold me. I went to New Orleans over summer 2016 for a bachelorette weekend (this was previously posted on my Tumblr before I moved to WordPress) - and I ate A LOT. We saw a lot too but when you’re going to the [...]

Berkeley Social Club (Berkeley, CA)

Berkeley Social Club (Berkeley, CA) - I saw two friends of mine go to Berkeley Social Club in the span of a week, so I knew I had to go check it out one of these days. While it's more known for their awesome brunch, I decided to have my birthday dinner there! We went [...]

Factory Tea Bar (Fremont, CA)

Factory Tea Bar (Fremont, CA) - Blogger event  meet ups make me a little nervous tbh. It’s intimidating meeting other people who super creative and social when you aren’t always the latter. Luckily, I’ve met a few of the other bloggers in attendance before - including Michael from Between Balloons, who organized the whole thing! [...]

Drip Line (Oakland, CA)

Drip Line (Oakland, CA)

Drip Line (Oakland, CA) - I had one last week of funemployment, so I wanted to enjoy it as best as I could! My only caveat - there was a week of rain in the forecast. Rather than sit around at home impatiently, I decided to try to go out before the rain got too [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

When you’re in the woods but you still need your coffee ☕️⁣
Thinking about how I’d originally wanted to go to Yosemite last week and now it’s closed indefinitely due to all the snow. 😳⁣
Who wouldn’t want to jump out of bed for a fresh pastry haul at the farmer’s market? I’ll admit, I’m not a morning person, but the promise of flaky croissants and fresh chocolate chip cookies is enough to get me out of bed on a Saturday morning. And you know what? The benefits of starting my day with a delicious treat, quality time with family and some fresh air are unbeatable. I feel energized and motivated for the rest of the day - who knew? ⁣
Gotta get back on ~romanticizing~ my breakfasts again, especially when it’s so easy to put together like this waffle board yet looks so fancy 💅🏼
When you wait too long to make this reel, that the coffee shop has changed ownership. 🥲 ⁣
🏔️ Wow, it's been over 15 years since I've last been to Yosemite, so this family weekend getaway was so nice to experience! Although I didn’t end up coming for the Firefall event I’d planned to see, I ended up in Wawona, a hidden gem at the southern end of the park. Our cozy house was nestled right alongside the Merced River, and the balcony offered calming views of the water and rocks.⁣
