Foreigner Cafe (San Mateo, CA)

Foreigner Cafe (San Mateo, CA) - It can be hard finding a place to meet up with friends when everyone lives in different parts of the Bay Area. We eventually settled on meeting on the peninsula, and I thought of Foreigner Cafe as a brunch spot for us to gather. I first came across it [...]

Bun Appétit (Fremont, CA)

Bun Appétit (Fremont, CA) - My new favorite donut place isn't in San Francisco or Berkeley or San Jose - it's in Fremont! Bun Appétit opened at the end of September last year, and I made my way over at the end of December and I've been there at least three times since then! Surprisingly [...]

Cup of Blooms (San Mateo, CA)

Cup of Blooms (San Mateo, CA) - Cup of Blooms is the cutest boba and coffee shop in downtown San Mateo. I remember seeing it on a friend’s Instagram a couple months back and when a fellow food blogger invited me to come try it, I said yes right away. I'll admit, the aesthetics are [...]

Campbell Coffee House (Campbell, CA)

Campbell Coffee House (Campbell, CA) - Here’s to the first tasting (I hope there are more haha) of the year at Campbell Coffee House! It’s always fun to hang out with other bloggers and creatives while everyone does their thing, while getting to try delicious food. I’m also always interested in how marketers decide to [...]

Teaquation & Tonic (Palo Alto, CA)

Teaquation & Tonic (Palo Alto, CA) - I remember being sad that I didn't get a chance to try Teaquation in Redwood City, so I was really excited when I got the opportunity to check out Teaquation and Tonic in Palo Alto! It's a small but cute space in Palo Alto - right across Palantir [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

When you’re in the woods but you still need your coffee ☕️⁣
Thinking about how I’d originally wanted to go to Yosemite last week and now it’s closed indefinitely due to all the snow. 😳⁣
Who wouldn’t want to jump out of bed for a fresh pastry haul at the farmer’s market? I’ll admit, I’m not a morning person, but the promise of flaky croissants and fresh chocolate chip cookies is enough to get me out of bed on a Saturday morning. And you know what? The benefits of starting my day with a delicious treat, quality time with family and some fresh air are unbeatable. I feel energized and motivated for the rest of the day - who knew? ⁣
Gotta get back on ~romanticizing~ my breakfasts again, especially when it’s so easy to put together like this waffle board yet looks so fancy 💅🏼
When you wait too long to make this reel, that the coffee shop has changed ownership. 🥲 ⁣
🏔️ Wow, it's been over 15 years since I've last been to Yosemite, so this family weekend getaway was so nice to experience! Although I didn’t end up coming for the Firefall event I’d planned to see, I ended up in Wawona, a hidden gem at the southern end of the park. Our cozy house was nestled right alongside the Merced River, and the balcony offered calming views of the water and rocks.⁣
