Gajar Ka Halva (Carrot Halva)

Gajar Ka Halva (Carrot Halva)

I can't believe it's almost the end of another Ramadan. This month felt both really long and somehow so short?! It's already mid-May! I don't understand how time works anymore, especially while we've been in this pandemic. With the Eid al-Fitr holiday coming up so soon, I wanted to share one of my favorite Pakistani [...]

El Halal Amigos (Fremont, CA)

El Halal Amigos (Fremont, CA)

I never thought there would be halal Mexican food in the Bay Area, let alone a halal taco truck that serves birria tacos! I've been following El Halal Amigos since they've opened and I finally made it over there to try their birria tacos on Wednesday, which is the day that they serve birria, and [...]

Foreigner Cafe (San Mateo, CA)

Foreigner Cafe (San Mateo, CA) - It can be hard finding a place to meet up with friends when everyone lives in different parts of the Bay Area. We eventually settled on meeting on the peninsula, and I thought of Foreigner Cafe as a brunch spot for us to gather. I first came across it [...]

Sun and Moon (San Francisco, CA)

Sun and Moon (San Francisco, CA) - When my team at work was looking for a lunch spot for us to celebrate new hires as a special hire, we came across Sun and Moon, a Thai restaurant that also features ramen. They had great classic Thai offerings along with fresh interpretations of dishes and had [...]

August bullet journal spreads: terrazzo abstract shapes

August bullet journal spreads: terrazzo abstract shapes

It's another busy month so I didn't want to create intricate designs and themes, so I wanted to keep it clean and simple. I did the complete opposite of last month and went with a bunch of color, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. All of the spreads were so easy to [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

When you’re in the woods but you still need your coffee ☕️⁣
Thinking about how I’d originally wanted to go to Yosemite last week and now it’s closed indefinitely due to all the snow. 😳⁣
Who wouldn’t want to jump out of bed for a fresh pastry haul at the farmer’s market? I’ll admit, I’m not a morning person, but the promise of flaky croissants and fresh chocolate chip cookies is enough to get me out of bed on a Saturday morning. And you know what? The benefits of starting my day with a delicious treat, quality time with family and some fresh air are unbeatable. I feel energized and motivated for the rest of the day - who knew? ⁣
Gotta get back on ~romanticizing~ my breakfasts again, especially when it’s so easy to put together like this waffle board yet looks so fancy 💅🏼
When you wait too long to make this reel, that the coffee shop has changed ownership. 🥲 ⁣
🏔️ Wow, it's been over 15 years since I've last been to Yosemite, so this family weekend getaway was so nice to experience! Although I didn’t end up coming for the Firefall event I’d planned to see, I ended up in Wawona, a hidden gem at the southern end of the park. Our cozy house was nestled right alongside the Merced River, and the balcony offered calming views of the water and rocks.⁣
