Where to Eat on National Pizza Day

Where to Eat on National Pizza Day

Pizza is always one of those things you can rely on. Bread - good. Cheese - good. Sauce - good. All of the other customizable toppings - good. I love classic flavors like cheese or margherita or trying the less conventional like potato pizza or corn as a topping. If a city has its own [...]

A Day Trip Guide to Santa Cruz

A Day Trip Guide to Santa Cruz

It may be the end of September and officially Fall, but this is when the Bay Area gets its last wind of summer! It's also the perfect time to spend the day at Santa Cruz, now that the main tourist season is over. I don't make it out as often as I want to Santa [...]

Where to Eat on National Ice Cream Day

Where to Eat on National Ice Cream Day

I've eat a lot of ice cream over the years! I love classic flavors like mint chocolate chip or trying artisanal ones that are available for a limited time. I also usually try to eat ice cream when I'm traveling - it's always fun to see what's happening in other parts of the country and [...]

The Penny Ice Creamery (Santa Cruz, CA)

The Penny Ice Creamery (Santa Cruz, CA)

THE PENNY ICE CREAMERY (Santa Cruz, CA) - I know it's the second day of Fall and I should technically be posting about pumpkin spice or apple cider, instead of eating ice cream near the beach, but it's California. I get to eat ice cream at the beach any time of year! If you're active [...]

The Picnic Basket (Santa Cruz, CA)

May 18, 2017June 1, 2017by Iman1 Comment on The Picnic Basket (Santa Cruz, CA)

THE PICNIC BASKET (Santa Cruz, CA) - It’s kinda sad that I live in California and probably go beach about once a year. I always enjoy going to Santa Cruz since I make the trek down there so rarely - the beach is always gorgeous, I have awesome company, and occasionally, find some good eats [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

When you’re in the woods but you still need your coffee ☕️⁣
Thinking about how I’d originally wanted to go to Yosemite last week and now it’s closed indefinitely due to all the snow. 😳⁣
Who wouldn’t want to jump out of bed for a fresh pastry haul at the farmer’s market? I’ll admit, I’m not a morning person, but the promise of flaky croissants and fresh chocolate chip cookies is enough to get me out of bed on a Saturday morning. And you know what? The benefits of starting my day with a delicious treat, quality time with family and some fresh air are unbeatable. I feel energized and motivated for the rest of the day - who knew? ⁣
Gotta get back on ~romanticizing~ my breakfasts again, especially when it’s so easy to put together like this waffle board yet looks so fancy 💅🏼
When you wait too long to make this reel, that the coffee shop has changed ownership. 🥲 ⁣
🏔️ Wow, it's been over 15 years since I've last been to Yosemite, so this family weekend getaway was so nice to experience! Although I didn’t end up coming for the Firefall event I’d planned to see, I ended up in Wawona, a hidden gem at the southern end of the park. Our cozy house was nestled right alongside the Merced River, and the balcony offered calming views of the water and rocks.⁣
