Bayfood’s Top 10 Restaurants of the Decade

Instead of doing a top ten list of places I ate in the year like I usually do, I thought I’d go all out and do a decade long round up of some of my favorite posts on the blog! Bayfood has technically been around since 2010, back when it was a really casual Tumblr [...]

Where to Eat on National Pizza Day

Where to Eat on National Pizza Day

Pizza is always one of those things you can rely on. Bread - good. Cheese - good. Sauce - good. All of the other customizable toppings - good. I love classic flavors like cheese or margherita or trying the less conventional like potato pizza or corn as a topping. If a city has its own [...]

Teaquation & Tonic (Palo Alto, CA)

Teaquation & Tonic (Palo Alto, CA) - I remember being sad that I didn't get a chance to try Teaquation in Redwood City, so I was really excited when I got the opportunity to check out Teaquation and Tonic in Palo Alto! It's a small but cute space in Palo Alto - right across Palantir [...]

Zareen’s (Palo Alto, CA)

Zareen’s (Palo Alto, CA)

Zareen's (Palo Alto, CA) - I waited over half an hour in line for my food and it was worth it! Zareen's brings Pakistani home cooking - like meals I would actually have at my house or a friend's - to the peninsula. Initially, I planned to go to the Mountain View when it opened, but [...]

Where to Eat on National Ice Cream Day

Where to Eat on National Ice Cream Day

I've eat a lot of ice cream over the years! I love classic flavors like mint chocolate chip or trying artisanal ones that are available for a limited time. I also usually try to eat ice cream when I'm traveling - it's always fun to see what's happening in other parts of the country and [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

When you’re in the woods but you still need your coffee ☕️⁣
Thinking about how I’d originally wanted to go to Yosemite last week and now it’s closed indefinitely due to all the snow. 😳⁣
Who wouldn’t want to jump out of bed for a fresh pastry haul at the farmer’s market? I’ll admit, I’m not a morning person, but the promise of flaky croissants and fresh chocolate chip cookies is enough to get me out of bed on a Saturday morning. And you know what? The benefits of starting my day with a delicious treat, quality time with family and some fresh air are unbeatable. I feel energized and motivated for the rest of the day - who knew? ⁣
Gotta get back on ~romanticizing~ my breakfasts again, especially when it’s so easy to put together like this waffle board yet looks so fancy 💅🏼
When you wait too long to make this reel, that the coffee shop has changed ownership. 🥲 ⁣
🏔️ Wow, it's been over 15 years since I've last been to Yosemite, so this family weekend getaway was so nice to experience! Although I didn’t end up coming for the Firefall event I’d planned to see, I ended up in Wawona, a hidden gem at the southern end of the park. Our cozy house was nestled right alongside the Merced River, and the balcony offered calming views of the water and rocks.⁣
