Winsome (Los Angeles, CA)

Winsome (Los Angeles, CA) - Upon suggestion from my cousins, we made a reservation at Winsome for Sunday brunch. I’ve never been to Silverlake, so I was excited to explore the area! A little chand raat at home ✨🌙 Chand Raat (which literally translates to “Moon Night”) is the night before Eid where people check to see if the new moon’s arrived - signaling that Ramadan is ending and Eid is here. In Pakistan and other South Asian countries, women will put mehndi on and do their last minute prep such as making dessert for the next day!
